Why might  you want a refret?

Favourite guitars get played a lot. Eventually the frets wear down and the wear is never even. You can see this especially

on acoustic guitars under the second and third strings.

This unevenness can cause a number of issues, uneven tone, buzzes and in the worst cases, a string fretted in one position will actually rest on the fret above, and the note produce will be a semi-tone higher than the one desired.

'Fret dressing' takes all the frets down to the level of the worst fret and is not therefore a service that we offer.

A Kavanagh refret is a much better solution and takes everything back to the level of a brand new guitar, or even better (especially is stainless steel frets are chosen).
